Greatest Gaming Remakes
New doesn’t always mean better, but the bellows have managed to break this rule.
Resident Evil Remake
First released in 1996, Resident Evil quickly became the top dog in the survivor horror scene. It was until 2002 that fans hoped for the original to be remade and Capcom didn’t disappoint. The game was released on Nintendo GameCube with remade graphics, sound and more story as well as new areas such as the forest. A must play and own for any horror fan, let alone Resident Evil fan.
The game was also ported to Nintendo Wii adding nothing but appears to be little cheaper new days.
Metal Gear Twin Snakes
Holds a second place after Resident Evil Remake but still stands out. This was also released for the GameCube and remained exclusive without any further ports. The game adds very little in terms of areas and actually downgrades the sound track. However, new moves can now be used such as hanging to add some level of new and the graphics along with gameplay smoothness makes this remake standout.
Tony Hawk’s 2X
2X enhances the graphics and smoothest the gameplay adding new levels as well. It’s not heavily remade as the rest but still brings something to the table. A must get for Tony Hawk’s fans. The game is Xbox exclusive and works on Xbox 360 with minor glitches.
As a huge Arkham games fan with %100 completion of both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City I was hopping for a new game.
Thats until Arkham Origins was announced and with the recently added Deathstroke playable character with preordered copies from Amazon, it became clear to me on what needs to be done. I have never preordered anything off Amazon for my self before, and what other way to start other than Batman Arkham Origins?!
My top 3 Important Gaming News
As I was going through my favorite gaming magazine Games Master I came across 3 important updates, in which 2 surprised me as I somehow missed them from the internet.
Plants VS Zombie 2 is ready and supposed to come out on 18 this month. The game apparently come on the IOS App Store in Australia and is currently awaiting international release. Question is; which platform should I get the game on? My current bid is the App Store.
GT6 is still coming out on PS3. I admit I used to be a huge GT fan, especially 4 but the latest release was a disappointment considering the time they took.
Last but not least and my favorite, Batman Arkham Next. It seems the voice actor for Batman leaked a confirmation that there is 4th Batman game in works. Arkham Asylum along with City are my best games of the year which I %100 on both PC and Xbox 360 so another 2 games is a God sent. Cant Wait!
The Walking Dead Challenge Day 12
How does Walking Dead compare to other shows/movies about zombies?
I think its very decent as there aren’t many good Zombie movies. The only issue I have is that they keep calling them Walkers instead of Zombies.
