A problem that existed since day one in fighting games; fighting over the side of the screen. No to sound superior or anything but I managed to overcome this problem by learning to play on both sides in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Never the less, this was annoying many players as each of us may have a favorite side to start on regardless of the fact that both are equal.

The introduction of feature aims to solve this by switching the camera to make you view your fighter from the desired side. I must say this is a brilliant idea and I’m surprised it took this long to implement.

I hope we will start to see more ideas like this and implement them in more games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. Fighting games did not refresh for a long time so any feature regardless if small is welcomed.
