Rayman Origins for $7.99

As the tittle says; Rayman Origins is on sale on GOG.com . Even though I own this on Xbox 360 and yet to play it, the PC version is always better in both loading, graphics and smoothness. You can really go wrong with 8 bucks any ways. Hurry up and get it as offer ends soon. Checkout other offered games while on GOG.

Batman Arkham Origins Cold Cold Heart DLC impression

The story DLC is finally here and I managed to play it last night. I had little hope of seeing something new let alone a good story but all that came crashing down when I started a new mode in Cold Cold Heart menu. I was surprised to see new textures, places and even enemy type. And while not much has changed since the main map, new place was opened as well as some small side missions but most importantly the new Batsuit.

The story is kinda short but satisfying for a quick and cheap DLC (Free with season pass) and while the main point of this DLC is to introduce the back story of Mr. Freeze, the new suite makes everything seems cooler somehow. I wont spoil anything but one final word: Get it.

New Twitter profile page goes live

At least for me. The profile page looks great with a new options to see all your posted pictures and videos. The only thing that can use a little edit is the huge header space. A good high res image can fix that non the less.

Google Drive increased space for less

I admit I was little late but made the jump to online storage (Dropbox) and even though it is still my main and favorite online backup solution, Google Drive steped up its game by offering more for less. Bellow is the recent price chart.

I must admit that the above prices are hard to beat and with increase file size per everything these days I’m thinking to go 1 TB via Drive. Competition is always a good thing.

Batman Arkham Knight preorders live

Pre-ordersfor the next gen Batman game are live, namely amazon.

The next batman game is said to be bigger than Arkham City by 5 times, a derivable Batmobile and a new rival named Arkham Knight. Im yet to %100 Arkham Origins but Im already excited as I love the Arkham Series.

Why as I holding up on getting the next gen consoles

Xbox one and PS4 are out and selling, the next gen has officially arrived. As a Diehard gamer, one would think I would jump on them as soon as I can and they would be right, not this time though.

Price

Now I know that the launch prices were low and all but I’m still waiting for the remembered cheaper version for Xbox One.

 

Games

No first batch tittle amazed me so far. Sorry but its true, no ground breaking game was shown till no and most of the ones I do want are also available on previous gen consoles or PC.

 

PC Gaming

Its no secret that I’m big on PC gaming and enjoying the best experience on most games (Batman Arkham Origins) so no rush.

 

Retro Gaming

I’m also a big old school retro gamer and collector as seen by my blog posts. Collection old school rare games > New Gen.

 

One final thing; I am in no way bashing or making fun of the new consoles and will get them sooner or later but at this point I prefer to save money on more important things and retro gaming although that could change once Gears of War 4 is announced. Game one, game right.
